Enid's main bathroom, then her cloakroom (G82, 2025–2026)
Enid's main bathroom was 2m × 2m, in a timber kit home, and she wanted a freestanding bath. In a room that size, the layout has to be exactly right. We fitted:
- a 1700mm oval freestanding bath with a wall-mounted brushed brass tap, so there's no deck tap taking up space
- two LED-lit niches above the bath for storage
- a concealed cistern with a brushed brass flush plate, built into a boxed-in shelf
- a vessel basin on a fluted two-drawer wall-hung vanity
- a round brass LED mirror and a brushed brass towel rail
- Porcelanosa marble-effect tiles on the walls and floor

The main bathroom came to £10,519 including VAT.
A few months later, in April 2026, Enid asked us back to do her downstairs cloakroom. It's 1.8m × 1.1m, and we used the same marble-effect tiles and brushed brass so the two rooms match: a compact wall-hung vanity, a wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern, a brass LED mirror and a brass towel rail. The cloakroom came to £5,514 including VAT.

When a customer brings you back for a second room, you've done the first one right.
Bathrooms in every type of Dumbarton home
Dumbarton has a real mix of houses, and each one is built differently behind the tiles. We plan for that at the home visit, not halfway through the job.
- Traditional sandstone homes. There are a lot of them in Dumbarton. Solid stone walls, timber floors and older pipe runs need to be worked with, not against, and older floors are checked and made good before anything is tiled.
- Timber kit homes. Like Enid's. The walls are timber stud, so wall-hung vanities, concealed cisterns and heavy towel rails need solid fixings planned in behind the boards before the room is tiled.

Bathroom design in Dumbarton
A small room doesn't have to mean a small bathroom. At the free home design visit we measure up, find where the pipework and soil pipe run, and work out what will actually fit: a freestanding bath in a 2m room, a concealed cistern that gives you a shelf, or a wall-hung vanity that frees up the floor. If something won't work in your room, we'll tell you before you spend the money.
Your written quote lists every product with a link to our shop. You can swap a tap or a vanity and see the price change before anything is ordered.
